The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Health & Wellness Expo and HDPT will be there!
This year’s exhibitors comprise a wide range of health, wellness, preventive health and fitness businesses. They include; Action Ambulance, Agility Orthopedics, Body Mind Systems, Children's Dental Care, Elements Massage of Stoneham, Excel Orthopaedics, Fuller House of Stoneham, Get In Shape for Women, HD Physical Therapy, Hallmark Health System, L.L. Bean, Lund Dental, Marchese Sports Therapy, Next Step Living, Redstone Chiropractic & Healing, Stop & Shop, StonehamBank, Stoneham Bikeway/Greenway Committee, Stoneham Senior Center, Stoneham Police Department, TruStrength Fitness, and Winchester Hospital.
Exhibitors will be on hand to introduce their businesses and answer questions. Many will have FREE goodies and give-aways, as well as discounts and introductory offers for their products and services. Many exhibitors will also provide complimentary health screenings such as blood sugar and blood pressure, vein and bone density screenings, massages, CPR demonstrations, jump testing, sporting equipment demonstrations, Physical Therapist led stretching exercises, etc., and other interactive activities for children and adults.
Attendees will want to be sure to visit these exhibitors with their “Passport to Health” that they will receive at the entrance to the Expo. Completion of the “Passport to Health” enters the attendee in the prize drawings at the conclusion of the Expo. Attendees do not need to be present to win.

Why is Movember so important? One of the biggest obstacles men tackle in regards to general well-being, is a reluctance to discuss health issues they face either with their partner, family or doctor. Movember was born from recognition that a fun and engaging initiative could help encourage men to become more actively involved in their own health. Movember aims to increase awareness and support for men's health by getting conversations started at a grassroots level, educating men about the health risks they face and raising vital funds for support programs.

HD Physical Therapy announces it has enhanced its services by adding two new therapists to the HDPT family. Svet Wilson, PTA, ATC, has joined the practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant and Christine Cunha, DPT as a new Physical Therapist.
HD Physical Therapy announces it has enhanced its services by adding two new therapists to the HDPT family. Svet Wilson, PTA, ATC, has joined the practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant and Christine Cunha, DPT as a new Physical Therapist.

our ability to provide better care to even more people,” says Glenn R.
D’Addario, MSPT, DPT, President & co-founder of HD Physical Therapy. “I am
looking forward to working with both Svet and Christine each day, as well as nurturing
their ongoing professional growth within HDPT.”
Svet Wilson,
PTA, ATC has built a substantial reputation on the North Shore for providing
valuable functional training and effective rehabilitative and wellness care. He
is known for his comforting smile, his energetic personality, his motivating
teachings and vast knowledge of and experience in exercise and sports medicine.
Mr. Wilson steadily delivers a positive and gratifying experience to all of his
patients. Mr. Wilson received his Physical Therapy Assistant degree from North Shore Community College in Danvers, and his
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from Salem State University. Svet is originally from Bulgaria,
but is currently a resident of Melrose, MA.
Dr.
Christine Cunha imparts her kindhearted and genuine personality on each and
every patient. She is known for her nurturing, attentive, forbearing and
thoughtful rehabilitative treatment style. Christine’s patients are instantly
comforted by her soothing and compassionate nature, all while receiving
leading-edge physical therapy care. Dr. Cunha continually produces valued,
comprehensive and rewarding therapeutic outcomes. Christine received her
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Northeastern University, as well
as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She is originally from Lexington,
MA, but is currently a resident of Salem, MA.
