#WorldHealthDay at #HDPT!

Happy ‪#‎WorldHealthDay‬! This year, World Health Day is about bringing awareness to the ‪#‎diabetes‬ epidemic. Healthy ‪#‎diet‬, regular ‪#‎physicalactivity‬ & maintaining a normal body weight are ways to prevent the onset of type 2 diabetes. Let a ‪#‎PT‬ help you get moving and stay moving!

#‎April‬ is ‪#‎AutismAwarenessMonth‬! What can a ‪#‎PT‬ do for kids with ‪#‎autism‬? PTs can work with children on basic motor skills such as sitting, rolling, standing & playing. They can work with parents to teach techniques that help their child build muscle strength & coordination. These skills are not only important for physical development, but also for social engagement & general play. ‪#‎awareness‬ ‪#‎action‬ ‪#‎inclusion‬ ‪#‎acceptance‬ ‪#‎appreciation‬ ‪#‎love‬

#TestimonialTuesday at #HDPT!

#‎TestimonalTuesday‬: "I ‪#‎sprained‬ my ‪#‎ankle‬ hiking and found myself frantically searching for a local ‪#‎physicaltherapist‬. I did a quick ‪#‎Google‬ search and Glenn was able to see me for an eval the same day I called! Great service!
When you are hurt, you feel like you will never get back to doing the things you love. Working with the excellent staff at ‪#‎HDPT‬, I was back on my feet in no time!
Ironically, I twisted the same ankle a year later! I was glad to see the staff again at HDPT, but was feeling even more frustrated with a re-injury. Not only did Robbie and the staff help me recover a second time, but I ended up stronger than ever. I learned new ‪#‎exercises‬ and ‪#‎stretches‬ to get ‪#‎healthy‬ and stay healthy! In fact I completed my first 1/2 ‪#‎marathon‬ in the fall of 2015, and I have signed up for the 2016 ‪#‎BostonMarathon‬!
HDPT is ‪#‎professional‬, ‪#‎clean‬ and ‪#‎knowledgeable‬. Each staff member at HDPT sincerely cares about their ‪#‎patients‬ and invests in the ‪#‎health‬ and ‪#‎recovery‬ of each and every one. Thank you HDPT!" - Jennifer S. ‪#‎Peabody‬, MA
